Our cutting-edge Panther FPGA Board, designed for high-frequency trading (HFT), is purpose-built to address ultra-low latency trading. In the world of HFT, FPGAs are unmatched in handling low-latency tick-to-trade tasks. However, their on-chip memory often falls short for more complex scenarios, making external memory speed crucial for system performance.
While other FPGAs on the market struggle with memory limitations, Panther’s use of SyncBurst® SRAM and precise clock synchronization ensures the lowest possible tick-to-trade latency, which is crucial for making fast and accurate trading decisions. LDA’s Panther takes this further by utilizing two jitter attenuators, which eliminate clock domain crossing between incoming and outgoing FPGA logic. This design locks the FPGA transmit clock to the exchange receive clock, significantly reducing latency, and can be applied to two exchange feeds simultaneously for greater processing efficiency.
