With LDA’s T-O-F Latency Measurement, infrastructure latency can be measured with an accuracy exceeding 31 picoseconds, detecting as little as a seven-millimeter change in the length of a fiber optic cable.

LDA Technologies’ unique Time-Of-Flight latency measurement system uses a radar-like approach to measure latency within a network using a patented technology developed by LDA.

The radar method is simple: send a signal into a medium, wait for it to reflect off a destination, receive the reflected signal, and measure the total “Time of Flight.”
